The double assembly system uses glue to form a moisture and dirt barrier around the trim and includes six assembly dowels. The glue effectively reduces noise from cracks and prevents visible screws or plugs. Installation is straightforward: drill holes, insert the supplied plugs into one track, align with pre-drilled holes, press down the nosing, and let the glue create a cushion between the trim and the floor.
